New Zealand recently reconfigured their Pot Laws in such a manner
as to reduce the exposure of their children to criminal drug dealers, who also
deal in Hard Drugs.

Anti-Mafia supports the Mexican Government's common sense decision to reconfigure it's drug laws. All of Mexico is now like the City of Amsterdam. They should look forward to an increase in tourism. 90% of the "problems" with drugs are Prohibition related, causing one to sometimes forget the dangers surrounding the drugs themselves.

Here is the Site Author’s formal statement and suggestion regarding simple changes to the Drug War.
* Repealing Marijuana Prohibition and replacing it with a $100 per ounce Import Tax would help balance out the National Budget each year with monies which were formerly directed into the hands of criminal gangs and potentially Terrorists. The problem with Marijuana will exist either way. The Role of the D.E.A. wouldn’t vary much except to insure that the tax was paid and the product was properly labeled. The expertise, skills and training of these personnel can be extended to protect America from Anthrax and other threats.
...Formally establish Marijuana as a soft drug, then clearly identify METH and METH based products, Refined Cocaine, Heroin, Morphine and ** today’s upper-end pharmaceutical opiate products in recognition as Man Made Plagues. Opium is absolutely not a soft alternative within that drug family, clearly mandating the need for tight control by prescription -but available by prescription.
This clearly sets aside METH, Cocaine* and Heroin out in the open in their entanglement with crime, gangs, violence and financial support towards Terror, clearly identified as "hard drugs" and further separates them from their mis-association with our Second Amendment Rights and the inappropriate media-mis-connection of the firearms Rights of Law Abiding Citizens with this prohibition generated gangster-style gang-banging every time some Democrat is up for election. In addition to the lethal nature of refined Hard Drugs, their sales -to anyone, any age- generates Illegal Tax Free Cash, and that generates and is surrounded by violent crime, criminal activity of all types, thefts to support high priced drug habits, & etc.
...The States are then free to regulate as they please...

** Support for this issue is up for serious reconsideration altogether as the pressure on Doctors by the D.E.A. comes to be so great that patients who have an injury of some type have to be left to suffer and/or be treated like junkies simply because they are injured. This is noted in the attitudes of today's E.R. techs, nurses, staff and persons who hang around hospitals. The DEA needs to butt-out and call off the Jihad. |
When someone is suffering in pain due to no reason other than D.C area chest pounding it sure brings them into the focal point of public hatred and despise. It's almost like reverting back to around 1860, before any of these modern options existed. Somewhat like the Taliban gov't, making everyone paint their windows Black. My thoughts on the illegal
immigration are that politicians should consider;
1)-- Make it easier to get
temporary work visas into the U.S. at an expanded number of border
crossings. After a background check for terror links the visa would be
easy to obtain. Once this is done: then Anyone trying to cross
illegally would be the criminal traffic that our forces could
concentrate on. ...Seal
The Damn Border... Use
military surveillance equipment like unmanned drones and satellites.
Building a massive Wall has a Wall of China Mentality which
could predictably be circumvented after a while in some other
form.
2)-- Visa holders must pay taxes
and Social Security Taxes like every other American wage earner. No
Pay Taxes - No Stay. Any criminal violations in the U.S. = OUT!
San Diego County is an example of a county where public services and
Medicaid funding are taken out of the system and not retrieved back
into the public taxation system due in part to this legal status
issue.
3)-- Driver's Licenses should be
conditional and directly related to the visa card and/or documentation
ID.
4)-- Babies born to work
visa holders ARE NOT automatically U.S. citizens. The process for
citizenship should remain the same and separate. These processes of
Citizenship should remain uncompromised.
5)-- Announce a 45 - 60 Day registration period here -at the nearest police station, etc., and Be Prepared and set up for the event, after which penalties should increase for illegals and their interactive employers.

PROHIBITION CREATES UNINTENDED PROBLEMS
...This highlights the need to research whether Coca, when incorporated into "Coca" Cola's Original Patent Formula in mild doses similar to caffeine wasn't a much less problematic situation then Illegal Cocaine and Crack have turned out to be in the absence of these legal markets. Natural Coca in minute doses would create a feeling of well-being at a much less comparable dosage level than caffeine, potentially reducing the undesirable side effects associated with caffeine.
... Coca leaves created NO problems over the millenniums until Refinement was developed by some brilliant foreign chemist. Then within a decade the Man Made Plague that had been created was realized and spread like wildfire through all these foreign countries. People from these foreign countries then started showing up and shooting these peasants who's ancestral traditions surrounded the Coca leaf and made their age old tradition illegal -due to the motives of a few handfuls of Mafia types dealing refined Cocaine to a PROHIBITION generated black market in these foreign countries ...
These Coca producing countries had traditionally relied upon some form of Coca trade as the cornerstone of their respective economies for all these centuries until Prohibition came about in the 30s' -Then the Nixon Administration came along. The U.S. policy of totally outlawing it and then shooting everybody associated with it in these producing countries creates and maintains a problem in that region where local warlords then form rival illegal Armies and compete for the $ MegaBucks generated from all these previously almost worthless weeds, which used to balance out in value to other types of local produce. Drug Lord's Armies torment local villagers, then they leave and are replaced by the Local Federale Govt' goons who also torment them -and this Drug War viscous cycle continues as each side accuses these innocent of helping the other. Living in constant wartime danger the real losers are the innocent and children living amidst the chaos and continuing poverty with no end in sight under the current Policy.
... If the Federales' find them with $100 or a new bicycle, they are accused of being a trafficker.
These nations are kept out of balance and in poverty by the Policies of foreign governments and nations with problems in their own legal structures. Locals caught with drug components; (Coca paste or semi-staged Cocaine ingredients, etc) are kept in corral style prisons for 5 - 7 years when their main incentive is to offset an overwhelming black market demand for an easy money illegal product -generated by Prohibition ... Locals experience almost No difference in the types of criminal acts committed against them by both groups where High $$$ Corruption is the name of the game. The U.S. then seems to have no shortage of Budget to help straighten everything all out and provides assistance by blackening the skies of these Third World developing countries with swarms of helicopters with machine guns -somewhat like descending plagues of locusts...
Colombia has always been famous for it's Golden Marijuana grown on the mountains of the Equator. Prohibition has caused this more peaceful POT scene to come to be replaced by scenes of peasants with pant legs rolled up stomping around in chemical baths, carelessly discarding waste & toxins similar to METH labs into the eco-system, creating a man made plague of Refined Cocaine, a deadly addictive product surrounded by Death and Hell which leaves a trail of dead bodies all the way up the continent to it's destination where it then cripples all those who touch it. Colombia needs OUR Marijuana Prohibition repealed and the Coca marketing laws restructured to allow it to heal and return to it's Golden Marijuana, tourism and peace...
The USA maintains a $100. Glass Ceiling on the finances of Colombian citizens, condemning and confining them to peasantry.

A Practical Sentencing Idea;
Drug Treatment Programs need to be incorporated into any Drug Related in-time. This author recommends
for the offense above: There is a need for a treatment
format
**Two weeks confinement for the first dirty test is substantial to gain the person's attention and try the initial turnaround -without wiping out the person financially, causing them to screw up their rent situation, leaving their job & etc., recoverable. Four weeks is the next more serious step and sure might, then Eight, and some dedicated users might never finish the program, but then that's their choice. In any case however when the line is crossed into violence different rules apply and we hope this is minimized.

Even case workers have been alerted to change their shoes if they suspect Meth being used in a house they enter, so apparently Meth is extremely dangerous to ones health when least expecting it is even around. The speaker also had photos of people with the flesh peeling off their bodies and exposing the bones... the reason for this happening, is the acid (battery acid and Drano is used to make meth) is taken internally by ingesting the finished product and he said: Once the acid goes in, it will seek it's way out, thus resulting in the flesh being eaten away.
